A Little Background Info
Roger's rich baritone voice and fluid percussive guitar style render well in the studio and especially live on stage. He has wonderfully integrated his background studies in jazz, early American folk, boogie and blues for his next solo CD release,
Roger began learning guitar in 1963. In 1965 he started a four piece combo called the INMATES. The INMATES performed for many of the service men and women leaving for the conflict in Vietnam from Ft. Benning Ga.
Roger then moved to Northern California in the winter of 1966. After high school graduation in the infamous " summer of love" class of 1968, he studied music and theater arts at Santa Rosa Jr. College where he became a founding member of the nationally well known theater organization SRT; Summer Repertory Theater.
